Black Bike Week 2009 Dates

Black Bike Week will be held Memorial Day Weekend, May 21- 25, 2009.

There is an ongoing controversy surrounding this event stemming from the new ordinances the City of Myrtle Beach passed concerning Bike Week events in their county. You can read the list of new rules HERE. One quote from the site reads: “Effective 2009, Myrtle Beach, SC will no longer host motorcycle rallies.”

I know that die hard Black Bike Week attendees will not let this news hinder their plans, however this is information that should be considered. Whether you choose to attend is your call.

Riding Out During Black Bike Week

I just recovered from the non-stop party called Memorial Day Weekend. Me and the crew started out by flying out to Myrtle Beach. Once we touched down we headed straight for Ocean Blvd. and walked for miles! Im surprised I didnt end up with blisters from all of the footwork I put in. The ladies were nice and plentiful. I will admit that was the largest crowd I’ve experienced since I started attending years ago.

As a bonus, I had a nice convo with a couple lovely ladies from Alabama who work for Honda.

Ladies On South Beach

After a couple days in Myrtle Beach, we got back on a plane and headed down to South Beach to catch some of the action Ocean Drive. Once again, our feet hit the pavement and put in more miles! We met quite a few pro sports players, actors, rappers and producers. It seemed like everyone was on the beach this year. The ladies were looking delicious as always.

Memorial Day Miami & Bike Week Had Huge Turnouts!

Sup Fam –

Me and the crew are back at home base after one WILD WEEKEND traveling around the East Coast to do some ‘reporting’ on what happened this year at Black Bike Week in Myrtle Beach, SC and at Memorial Day Miami on South Beach (Florida).

Numbers you ask?

Memorial Day Miami 2007
Shot of Ocean Drive (Miami Beach, FL) w/Young Jeezy Conversating With The Crowd…

Well, the Miami Herald is reporting up to 400,000 people were on South Beach this weekend for the Urban Beach Events!

Black Bike Week 2007
Wide shot of some of the crowd on Ocean Blvd (Myrtle Beach, SC) having a good time…

In Myrtle Beach, reports are estimating between 300,000 to 350,000 were attendance.

Like I said it was a fantastic turnout at both events! We took plenty of pictures and I will be adding them to the site soon.

First order of business was to get a gallery page made to showcase the pictures. I have it up but it needs a little TLC to make it look lovely.

Sidenote: There were so many beautiful women in Miami this year!
